“April has been a pleasure to teach,” said Neal Crawford, Gordon Central’s Band Director. “April has an inner drive and passion for music that is exceptional. Her ability to devote hours upon hours developing her skill set that is on a state champion level is to be honored and recognized. As her high school band director, I want to not only recognize April for her accomplishments, but to also recognize all of the educators and musicians that helped April along the way. I also thank her parents, Jarret and Dianne, for their sacrifices and encouragement of April. I know that great things are on the horizon for April as she moves forward in life.”
What is next for Volzer? She plans to study Linguistics or Literature on the collegiate level and minor in music.
