Gordon County Extension Lunch & Learn - Picnic Lunch and Hike at Arrowhead Wildlife Management Area on Tuesday, April 24. Meet at the Gordon County Agricultural Service Center on 53 Spur in Calhoun at 9 a.m. (travel space available for 14 people on mini-bus) and be back by early afternoon. Lunch discussion will include various wildlife related topics and involve a 2- mile hike with Gregory and do a walking tour of area discussing a wide variety of land management topics including waterfowl management, forest management of wildlife, prescribed burning and much more. The Calhoun Housing Authority Board of Commissioners meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month for the regular called Board Meetings at 12:00 p.m. Special Board meetings will be advertised in advance.
