TOBI Says, Bracketology

church, where some have great talents and are a joy to appreciate. It may be a beautiful voice, or the preacher and teacher that have a great talent to share and explain the Word of God.

Then there is a group of teams that are just happy to be in the tournament. They are there to enjoy, and experience the event. They are glad to a part of the Big Show. They will play well, and be able to say that they were a part of the March Madness.

At a race, these are the walkers, the injured and elderly that are enjoying the experience and being a part of the crowd to raise money for a good cause. They do not expect to win, but they are enjoying the fellowship and enjoying the outside activity.

At church, these are members of the class or congregation that benefit from being a part of the team. They enjoy the experience and are glad to be there for same purpose.

At March Madness, many of the teams are there for the competition. They play hard and play well, but do not expect to make the finals. Their fans are proud of their achievements. They have experiences that they will remember for a long time.

At a run, this is the majority of the runners. They will compete. They will do well for their age and talent. They will enjoy the experience, the time to be outside to exercise, and help raise money for a good cause.

At church, this is also a majority of the congregation. They are there to share in the experience, and the activities. They are learning, fellowshipping, and encouraging.

At March Madness, there are many more there to make it a success. There are coaches, trainers, and waterboys that are all necessary for the team to succeed.

There are others at a run. They are the support teams. These are volunteers manning the aid stations with water, giving directions, and doing the registration for runners.

At church, these are the van drivers, the cooks, and those in the congregation that bring the elderly that cannot drive. They are an important part of the team and the experience.

At home are some spectators that tell you what they could have done. They have all the answers. There is a lot of talk, but little motion. These include those that run, but not in a race. Those that could play ball but do not. And those that could worship God at home, but do not.

Success is being a part of the team and moving ahead. Moving in the right direction. A car that is not moving does not need a steering wheel. They will not succeed. The question for you is, are you a success? Are you a part of the team?
