Lt. Col. Oliver North to speak at Todd Starnes’ Faith and Freedom Celebratio­n at Truett McConnell University

CLEVELAND, Ga. – Fox News Commentato­r Todd Starnes will host a Faith and Freedom Celebratio­n featuring Lt. Col. Oliver L. North ( retired) on the Truett McConnell University campus, April 20, 2018.

North is a decorated combat veteran who served 22 years in the United States Marine Corps. During the Vietnam War, he led a marine platoon and won a Silver Star and a Purple Heart for his service. In 1981, President Reagan appointed him deputy- director of the National Security Council where he played a key role in a series of controvers­ial military and security actions.

The retired Lieutenant Colonel acts now as an American political commentato­r and television host, military historian, and New York Times best- selling author.

The Faith and Freedom Celebratio­n will take place in the university’s George Blaurock Student Wellness Center. Todd Starnes, columnist, author, and host of the Todd Starnes Show on Fox News radio will emcee this special event.

One hundred percent of all proceeds will fund the Empower the Call campaign which provides assistance for student mission trips, creates retention scholarshi­ps, and reduces missionary student debt, allowing TMU alumni currently on the mission field to remain and continue sharing the gospel message.

Event ticket options include: bleacher seating for $ 25 or table seating with dinner for $ 250. Dinner tables of eight are also available for $ 2,000, which includes a reception with Lt. Col. North and Todd Starnes.

In addition to the program, all participan­ts will have the opportunit­y to view a replica of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier inside the Student Wellness Center.
