TOBI Says, It is camp time

Summer is a time for camps. Have you been? Are you going? It will be a great time.

There are running camps for you to improve your form. You can learn how to get faster and improve your strength for the longer runs.

There are band camps to work on your music skills, and to learn the techniques of playing in a group and working together.

There are baseball, basketball and football camps to learn the basic techniques that you need to improve your game. It is also a time to learn the teamwork and motivation that you need to continue to improve skills and talents.

There are also 4-H camps to visit nature, and learn about animals and the great outdoors. And 4-H has expanded into many other areas to help you in your life and the future.

My favorite camp is a Bible camp. There are Bible camps all over the country. It is a time to get away from the distractions of the world. My favorite Bible camp is Ponderosa Bible Camp in Mentone, Ala. It is up on top of the mountain at what seems to be the end of the world.

Bible camps have a wide range of activities for young people of all ages to enjoy. There is good eating, swimming, games, good eating, singing, good eating, cabin time and free time to make and share with old and new friends.

And the best time is the chapel time. There you sing, and share, and learn about God’s Word, the Bible. Your hear stories from the Bible, and mission stories. All of this is for young people to know Jesus as their personal Savior and to grow in their Christian life.

Enjoy camp, get excited while you are there, and spread the message when you get home. Keep the enthusiasm going. You are making memories for a lifetime.
