The Calhoun Little Theatre will have a performance of “Love Letters” at the Harris Arts Center, 212 S. Wall St., on Friday at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $20. For more information call 706-629-2599.

AARP will host a Smart Driver Course at the Victory Fellowship Center Church, 925 Oothcalooga St. in Calhoun, on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The course aims to provide a refresher to drivers, and includes a 45-minute lunch break. The class is taught by certified volunteer instructor Sheila Powell. Participants are encouraged to check with their insurance agent to see if they are eligible for an insurance discount. There are no tests required to pass the course. The course is open to drivers of all ages. It costs $15 for AARP members and $20 for nonmembers. Cash or check payments are accepted. The Oostanaula School Community Club, 1595 Oostanaula Bend Road Southwest in Calhoun, invites everyone out on Saturday for a Valentine’s Day party and dinner of fried chicken, steak and gravy, baked potatoes, vegetables, desserts and drinks for $7 per meal. Serving will begin at 5 p.m. Everyone who comes in the door will get a valentine with a chance to win a huge valentine candy or other door prizes. There will also be cakewalks, an auction and dancing to the music of New Willow Creek Band. Bring your special valentine out for a great evening.
