11 charged in Gordon Co. meth investigation
Those arrested face charges stemming from an investigation into a meth distribution operation.
A two-month investigation by detectives with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office culminated in multiple arrests last week.
According to the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office:
The investigation probed an alleged meth distribution operation involving multiple people. Detectives made a number of controlled purchases of methamphetamine along with the acquisition of other evidence. On Wednesday, detectives and uniformed deputies executed search and arrest warrants at three places in Gordon County: 107 Holly Hills Drive, 196 Hollingsworth Drive, and 677 Ga. 225. Nine persons were arrested in connection with offenses involving possession/sale/distribution/trafficking methamphetamine. Two defendants are still at large.
Those arrested last week are:
Stephanie Lynn Baldwin, 34, of 107 Holly Hills Drive, Calhoun, charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute.
Gordon Kirk Albertson, 51, 677 Ga. 225, Calhoun, charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Mandy Marlene Hatmaker, 31, of Chatsworth, charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Paul Matthew Helton, 32, of 196 Hollingsworth Drive, Calhoun, charged with sale of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
Brandy Sue McNeal, 41, of 40 Buck Lane, Chatsworth, charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Andrew Thomas Mason, 27, of 131 Erin Lane, Calhoun, charged with trafficking/sale of methamphetamine.
Marty Allen Morgan, 35, of 107 Holly Hills Drive, Calhoun, charged with sale of methamphetamine.
Frankie Lee Blanton, 29, of Apartment 6, 1424 Sugar Valley Road, Calhoun, charged with multiple sales of methamphetamine.
Carol Ann Timms, 35, of Old Red Bud Road, Calhoun, charged with sale of methamphetamine.
At the time of his arrest, Albertson was being sought by authorities in Walker County on unrelated charges. Seven defendants had previous arrests in Gordon County.
