Thank you!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! The Calhoun Gordon County Retired Educators Association is most appreciative for the great response to our fifth Scholarship Auction. Thanks to your generosity, we have reached our goal of $50,000 in our Scholarship Foundation.
Seniors at Calhoun, Gordon Central and Sonoraville high schools will reap the benefits for years to come! Where do we start to thank everyone?
Georgia Northwestern Technical College was the perfect location the past three years to hold our auctions. We appreciate their willingness to support the community. Members worked tirelessly to collect donations from individuals, as well as businesses.
The Calhoun Gordon Community Foundation made a generous donation to help defray expenses, so that more of the monies raised could go into our foundation. Sheriff Mitch Ralston returned for a second year as auctioneer, for which we were most grateful. David Burton, of Wall Street Catering, served another delicious salad buffet lunch.
