The GEM Theatre will host a “Give Burns the Boot” benefit concert Saturday, Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. with band Them Dirty Roses and Chloe Litton. General admission tickets are $35 each and benefit the Georgia Firefighte­rs Burn Foundation.

The Calhoun City Council will hold their next regularly scheduled meeting Monday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. downtown at the depot, 109 S. King St.

The Gordon County Board of Education will hold their next regularly scheduled meeting Monday, Feb. 8, at the Gordon County College and Career Academy, 305 Beamer Road. Work session begins at 6:15 with the meeting following directly after.

The Board of Trustees of the Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library will hold its quarterly meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 4:30 p.m. via Google Meet. To join this meeting, call 1-484-519-1276 and use pin 850 482 531. When joining this meeting, guests will be automatica­lly muted but will be able to converse through text chat. The meeting is open to the public.
