The North Georgia Cardinals semi-profession­al football team will hold its second round of open tryouts, Saturday, Oct. 9, at 3 p.m., on the field behind the Calhoun VFW, 406 W. Line St. The team is seeking players for all positions for the 2022 spring season. A $40 tryout fee is required for newcomers.
