Hamilton Physician Group, 100 Willowbrook Way, is hosting a Holiday Food Drive through Dec. 15, benefiting the Voluntary Action Center. Most-needed items include: canned food items, peanut butter, canned soups and pasta, canned meats, cereal, boxed pasta and macaroni, instant and canned potatoes, Hamburger Helper, crackers, evaporated milk, Styrofoam plates, Styrofoam or plastic cups, plastic forks and spoons, napkins, butter and sour cream, cheese, cooking oil, and coffee and tea. Donations may be dropped off at HPG — Calhoun Campus.
North Georgia National Bank will host Santa Claus, Wednesday, Dec. 15, from 3 to 6 p.m., with free photo opportunities.
The Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library, 100 N. Park Ave., will host a Teen Painting Party, Thursday, Dec. 16, from 4 to

Heritage Baptist Church, 345 Curtis Parkway, will display its “Road to the Resurrection” live nativity scene Thursday, Dec. 16 through Saturday, Dec. 18, starting at 6:30 p.m. and lasting until around 10 p.m. nightly.

Community Church, 3168 Red Bud Road, will display its second annual drive-thru live nativity Friday, Dec. 17 and Saturday, Dec. 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. each night.
The annual Dana Patterson Memorial Christmas Concert is set for Saturday, Dec. 18, at the GEM Theatre, 114 N. Wall St., beginning at 7 p.m. General admission $18.69.
Oakman Baptist Church, 2706 Old Highway 411, Oakman, will present “Christmas Comes To Detroit Louie” on Sunday, Dec. 19, at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Tommy Phillips welcomes everyone.
Calhoun’s VFW Post 5373, 406 W. Line St., will host a New Year’s Eve party, Friday, Dec. 31, at 8 p.m. for all local veterans and their guests.

The Calhoun-Gordon County Public Library, 100 N. Park Ave., has resumed Noni’s Nook Story Time for children of all ages each Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Children can sing, hear stories and participate in crafts. All aspects of in-person programming are subject to change based on health crisis guidelines and procedures.
The Renis Barrett VFW Post 5376, 406 W. Line St., will hold a veterans outreach breakfast the last Saturday of each month, from 8 to 10 a.m., in the event hall. The free breakfast is open to all local veterans.
Calhoun Anglican Fellowship is working to establish an orthodox and evangelical fellowship of like-minded Anglicans or other Christians interested in the Anglican Way committed to the authority of scripture and worship according to the Book of Common Prayer.
