people and world around him. Werner was often seen around Calhoun with his beloved beagle, Scarlett, by his side.

Werner was a supporter of the arts. He enjoyed attending operas and musicals, whether at Calhoun High School, The Tivoli, Harris Arts Center, or some other venue. He was also an avid comic book and toy collector. Loved by many children, he was affectiona­tely known as the “toy man.”

Werner is survived by his wife and best friend, LeAnna Gail Wade. He is also survived by their three children, Katelynn Nonni Lenora Stockman, and her fiancé Robert Melville; Kathrynn Naomi Stockman, and her fiancé Josh Cochran; and Nathaniel Alexander Stockman. Werner is also survived by his father, Herbert Stockman; a brother, Herb Stockman and sister-in-law, Nancy Stockman; father-in-law, Ricky Wade; mother-in-law, Kathy Wilson; a niece, Samantha Stockman; a grandson, Seth Arthur; a great-grandson, Nicholas; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Werner is also survived by his beloved beagle, Scarlett.

Werner was preceded in death by his mother, Hilde Stockman, and his grandparen­ts.

Visitation will be held at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m.
