Maggy Abernathy and Kamryn Penny will compete this year as Couple No. 6.

Maggy, a Sophomore at Calhoun High School, is the daughter of Pam & Bryan Abernathy. She has one sibling, Jax Abernathy. Maggy has been a Varsity Softball player for two years earning All-Region and All-State honors both years. She is also a member of the Calhoun track team. She would like to thank Jana Johns for always being a positive role model for her!

Kam is a Junior at Calhoun High School. He is the son of Solomon & Alexzandria Penny and has one sibling, Raelyn Watkins. Kam has been a member of the Calhoun Yellow Jacket football team for the past three years. He is on the Calhoun track team as well and was a member of the basketball team for two years. Kam thanks Thomas Lester for having the biggest impact on his life, his interest in sports and serving as a second father. Maggy took tumbling classes and ballet at an early age. However, Kam has no previous dance experience. Both are competing in the show for the first time. Recently we got the chance to talk to both about this experience.
