The City of Adairsvill­e will host its annual Great Locomotive Chase 5K Run Saturday, April 13, at 8 a.m., with start and finish at the downtown depot, 101 Public Square. Registrati­on is $25. Kids 10-and-under are free, with student registrati­on at $20 — with all registrati­ons including a free Tshirt.

Evergreen Baptist Church of Gordon County will host its Spring Revival Sunday, April 14, at 6 p.m., through Wednesday, April 17, with weeknight services at 7:30 p.m. Pastor Jerome Silvers welcomes guest preacher Rev. Tim Cheatham.

Confederat­e Memorial Day will be observed at the Resaca Confederat­e Cemetery Sunday, April 21, at 2 p.m., with a wreath laying and honor volley in memory of Confederat­e veterans.
