St. Joseph Senior Citizens Club meeting of April 11

WOONSOCKET — President Suzanne Grenier opened the meeting with a prayer for the sick – Jocelyn Ciffo, Connie Roy, Terry Lambert and Rita Couture – and for deceased members.

Door prize winners were Suzanne M. Grenier, Roger Marois, Joe Pincince, Jean R. Dutremble Sr. and Connie Servizi. Connie is a new member who was welcomed by the club. Raffle ticket winners were Linda Degaire, Pat Palardy, Richard Deguire, Yvette Leclerc and Gene Arsenault. Dollar a month club winners were Muriel Dugas, Marge Deragon, Sue Hebert, Donna Bourgeois, Jacqueline Auclair and Jeanne LeBlanc. Upcoming events include:

•A pot roast dinner on April 25 at noon in the Good Shepherd School auditorium on Mendon Road. Tickets are $10 per person.

•Trips to Foxwoods Casino on April 28 and May 26.

The club will be holding a 42nd anniversary dinner on May 21 at the Village Haven Restaurant, 99 School St., Forestdale. The menu will include family-style chicken or roast beef. Tickets are $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers. For more information, call Sue Grenier at 401766-4647.
