St. Agatha Seniors, Meeting of June 21
President Annette Beaulieu opened the meeting with a prayer for Paul Racine, while a ‘thank-you’ card was received from the family of Rita Rousseau.
Celebrating birthdays were Estelle Arcand, Claudette Desaulniers, Joseph Decristoforo and Jeanne Wall. Steven and Denise Chamberlin are celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary.
The president announced that the trip to the Venezia Waterfront Restaurant in Boston featuring the Voices Legends Show has, unfortunately, been cancelled.
Door prize winners were Priscilla Paulhus, Janet Lamarsh, Constance Seider and Aline Durand. Winners of the raffle were Frances Roy, Viollette Roy, Janet Lamarsh and George Racine.
Tickets are on sale this week for the Picnic scheduled for July 12.
Winners of the special BINGO games were Constance Seider, Helen Menoche, Cecile Belhumeur, Constance Roy and Jeanne Wall. Constance Seider was the caller.
Pitch winners were George Racine, Roger Roy, Marcel Cote, Normand Piette, Gino Orazi and Claudette Desaulniers. Coffee and pastries were served by Marguerite Deragon, Gerard Robidoux, Frances Roy and Leo Robidoux.
St. Joseph Seniors, meeting of June 13
President Suzanne Grenier opened the meeting with a prayer for the ailing Celia Gregoire and Yvette Benetti. Prayers were also said for deceased members.
Birthdays celebrated this months included Trudy Dufault, Gary Plotkin, Rachel Lepage, Barbara Carpentier, Jeanne Savaria, Lucille Lavalle, Sue Martin, Estelle Ariane, Mary Gaboriault, Rose Jalbert, Richard Lemay, Jeanne Wall, Diane Lamoureux and Rene Phaneuf.
Raffle winners were Jean Dutremble Sr., Helen Ciffo, Marie Desilets, Gerry Robidoux and Lorie Dutremble.
Door prize winners were Gerry Robidoux, Terry Lambert, Denise Dufault , Leo Savaria and Rita Boisvert. Dollar-a-month winners were Paul Dutremble, Andre Bilodeau, Annette Beaulieu, Gene Arsenault, Pauline Harris and Marjorie Mineau.
Upcoming events:
•A chowder and clambake dinner is planned for Tuesday, June 27 at noon in the Good Shepherd School auditorium at noon. Tickets are $10 per person.

Saint Aidan Seniors to meet Friday, July 7
CUMBERLAND — Saint Aidan Senior Group will meet on Friday, July 7 at St. Aidan Parish Center, 1460 Diamond Hill Road.
Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the meeting begins at 10 a.m.
The meeting will feature a performance by country music singer Jorene Lane. A chowder and clam bake luncheon will also be served at noon. (Members are requested to wear Western-themed attire.)
New members are always welcomed.
