St. Joseph Seniors, meeting of July 11

WOONSOCKET — President Suzanne Grenier opened the meeting with a prayer for the sick – Eddie Carpenter, Celia Gregoire and Helen Arsenault – and for the deceased.

Door prize winners were Eugene Arsenault, Helen Mumford, Joan Joubert, Bob Joubert and Yvette Benetti.

Raffle ticket winners were Bob Desjardins, Marie Desilets, Gerry Robidoux, Yoshi Lioya and Connie Gentile.

Dollar-a-Month winners for this month were Jim Lemire, Jeanne LeBlanc, Jean Dutremble, Sr., Rena Maculan, Yoshi Lioya and Leo Grenier.

Celebrating birthdays this month were Gerry Giguere, Michelle McDonald, Donna Bourgeois, Connie Eithier, Sandra Therien, Henriette Harpin, Aline Laramee, Barbara DeCristofaro, Gerry Robidoux, Gloria Belknap, Helen Arsenault, Jean Dutremble, Sr., Irene Lamoureux, Roger Dubois, Lucille, Julie and Terry Pawlitschek.

Baked scrod dinner will be held on Tuesday, July 25, at noon in the Good Shepherd School auditorium on Mendon Road. Tickets are $10 per person.
