1959Tolman grid coach Anthony (Gig) Pariseau will have a veteran-studded eleven with 13 returning lettermen when the Tigers make their 1969 campaign debut versus East Providence in an Injury Fund exhibition. In the backfield, sophomore Dennis Lucier, whose speed and running ability has been among the main topics in the Tolman camp, will get his shot at right halfback for injured Johnny Harker, Tom Humphrey will man the left half spot, burly Tom Thibodeau is at fullback and Mike Mauricio at QB. The forward line is comprised of All-Valley Ron Palagi and Charlie Meunier at the ends, All-Valley Carmine Zannini and Al Vierra at the tackles, All-Valley Gerry Philbin and Art Choquette at the guards and Bill Walker at center.

1969Long-time Tolman football coach Gig Pariseau has five returning starters from last season in QB Doug McKinnon, halfback Joe Braganca, tackle Paul Hochwater, end Rick Cote and Dave Britto, who has been moved from end to fullback. Guard Mike Varone, tackle Paul Murray, end Tony Nicastro, center Roy Tomkiewicz and halfback Ray Massey are returning lettermen with one year of experience under their belts and ready for full-time jobs. The sophomores class of which Pariseau considers the best he has seen in his 20 years at Tolman has QB Ernie Hutton, guards Bob Palagi and Dave Carter, tackles Tom Connell and George Bouris and ends Fred Maia, Paul Casavant and Bob Donahue pushing the vets for playing time.

1979The Tolman football team returns 75% of its starting backfield in halfbacks Dave Neill (5-10, 190) and Jim Muratori (5-5, 175) and QB Scott Haggerty along with guard Keith Davey and ends Andy Rankowitz and Mike Della Selva. Either seniors John Moran and Andy Kiza or sophomore Bill Quinn will complete the Tiger backfield. Inexperienced seniors Jay McLaughlin and Dragan Krsulic and junior Jeff Brule are fighting for the tackle slots, Jeff Shabo or Mike Brindamour will join Davey at guard and Keith Landry is rated the top center.
