For the fifth year, Music Fest will be held at Medway High School on Sept. 23, from 5 to 9 p.m.
“We are grateful for the support of the Town of Medway Parks and the Medway Public Schools.” said Mr. Todd Shafer, Music Director of the award-winning Blackstone Millville School District. “With no lights on our football field, it would be challenging to host Music Fest on our home turf. Medway has welcomed the Chargers in the past, they have an excellent facility, and we appreciate their continued support.”
The Chargers’ performance is entitled “1492” set to the musical piece “New World Symphony” by Antonin Dvorak, “160 BPM” by Hans Zimmer, and “New World” by Bjork. The show was designed by Caption Director, Mr. Brian Murphy, an accomplished marching band professional with over 40 years of award-winning experience in the marching arts. Musical arrangement was provided by Carol Britain Chambers, Alex Beltran and Bobby Scott.
Music Fest is organized by The Blackstone Millville Music Association, a parent-run, non-profit organization that provides volunteers, staffing, transportation, chaperones, uniforms and more.
Admission to Music Fest is $10 for adults and $5 for children. For more information, visit blackstonemillvillemusic.org.
