St. Agatha Seniors meeting Sept. 20

WOONSOCKET— President Annette Beaulieu opened the meeting with a prayer for Marcel Cote and all deceased members and their families. Celebrating a birthday was Dolores Blais. Door prize winners were Jeanne Theroux, Jacquelilne Guevremont, Roger Roy and Simone Remillard.

Winners of the raffle were Martha Cote, Jacquelline Guevremont, Yashi Loya and Frances Roy.

The president elected a nominating committee which consist of Constance Seider, Jeannette Cousineau and Doris Pariseau.

Winners of the special Bingo games were Gloria Belknap, Jeanne Wall and Lucille Galipeau. Jeannete Cousineau was the caller.

Pitch winners were Roger Roy, Claudette Desaulniers, Marguerite Dubois, Lucille Lajoie, Robert Laplante and Martha Cote,

A‘Michael Buble Tribute’ is being held on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Danverport Yacht Club. Anyone interested in going may call Doris Pariseau at 401-597-0502 (need not be a member of the club to attend.)

Serving coffee and pastries were Jeanne Theroux, Priscilla Paulhus, Gerard Robidoux and Marguerite Deragon.

At St. Agatha’s previous meeting, 50 members enjoyed a meatloaf dinner with all the trimmings.

Winners of the door prizes were Raymond Lavoie, Gerard Robidoux, Gloria Belknap and Roger Petit.

Raffle winners were Beatrice Parent, Muriel Turcotte, Jeannete Cousineau and George Gautreau.

Tickets are on sale for the Wednesday, Oct. 11 meal. A ham dinner will be served.
