BLACKSTONE — Grace (Mochnacki) Plante, 99, of Blackstone and formerly of Manville, died on Sept. 22, 2017 at The Friendly Nursing Home in Woonsocket.

Wife of the late Theodore D. Mochnacki and the late Paul Plante, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Laura (LeBoeuf) Laliberte.

She was a secretary for 33 years at the former Auger Furniture Co. of Woonsocket. She served as treasurer for 12 years for the Manville/Albion Golden Agers, and was active in PTA of Manville and Mount St. Charles. She was educated in the Woonsocket Catholic schools and attended Hill College.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Nancy Ladouceur, with whom she lived before moving to The Friendly Home; her beloved son, Theodore J. Mochnacki and his wife Jeanne of Osterville, Mass.; and one sister, Jeannine Foisy of North Smithfield. She also leaves her beloved granddaugh­ter, Laurie Schmitt and her husband Kenneth of Blackstone, and beloved grandsons, Michael Ladouceur and Brian Ladouceur, both of Blackstone. She is also survived by four great-grandchild­ren, Hillary Roberge (Doug), Lindsay Schmitt, Kayla Ackley and Michael Ladouceur Jr. She was the sister of the late Paul, Ronald, Ferdinand, Alphonse and Edgar Laliberte, Claire Lefebvre, Gilberte Plouffe and Germaine Pacheco, and her beloved son-in-law Wilfred G. Ladouceur.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul's Church in Blackstone. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
