R.I. Philharmon­ic announces new hires and staff changes

EAST PROVIDENCE — The Rhode Island Philharmon­ic Orchestra & Music School announced the hiring of Faye B. Zuckerman, of Riverside, as manager of communicat­ions and government relations and Deborah Gilstein Jaffe, of Barrington, as part-time business partnershi­ps and special events manager.

Danielle K. Bouchard, of Cumberland, has expanded her role as group sales manager to include marketing. Bouchard’s new title is manager of marketing and group sales, and Erin Flood is now enrollment manager.

Zuckerman most recently worked at the Brain Injury Associatio­n of Rhode Island as the nonprofit’s head of Zuckerman image communicat­ion, marketing and government relations. She held the position of assistant state director for advocacy and government relations for AARP Rhode Island, and was the director of communicat­ions for the Office of Governor Lincoln Chafee, Rhode Island Housing and United Way of Rhode Island. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and did her graduate work in journalism at California State University, Northridge.

In addition to Bouchard’s four years of overseeing the Rhode Island Philharmon­ic Orchestra Box Office, she has more than 10 years of experience in arts administra­tion. She previously held positions with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Trinity Rep. She has a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College.
