PAWTUCKET — Park Place Church, 71 Park Place, will be holding ‘A Christmas Cabaret’ tonight.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. The dinner menu includes beef or chicken Wellington, salad, bread and dessert bar; water, coffee and/or soft drinks.

Showtime is 7:15 p.m. and features Cindy Boulay; Kristine Gervais; Bill and Darlene McMillan; Sara Morrissett­e; as well as Carlene Neves and Wayne Patenaude.

WOONSOCKET — The Downtown Woonsocket Collaborat­ive welcomes you to join in on the ninth annual Woonsocket Main Street Holiday Stroll, which will take place today, from 2 to 7 p.m.

The stroll, which starts to Market Square and ends at Monument Square, features carolers, street and musical performers, local artisans, a fire performer, a tree-decorating contest, a visit from Santa Claus, a scavenger hunt, family-friendly activities as well as food and beverages.

UPTON, Mass. — Today, St. Gabriel Women’s Club will hold its traditiona­l Christmas Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the church hall at 151 Mendon St., Upton.

Well known for fresh greenery for both inside and out, the abundantly-decorated fresh balsam wreaths and cemetery baskets are quick to sell. You can take your own pictures with Santa as he greets everyone arriving at the fair. Purchases can be made from the Olde Tyme Christmas section, the new or ‘like new’ Gift Gallery and the ever-popular Flea Market.

Chances are available on theme baskets, restaurant gift cards, Home Heating Oil and a Lottery Tree decorated with $100 in lottery tickets. A ‘Bake Table’ offers pies, cakes, breads and candy. Coffee and muffins are available, or stay for lunch, featuring beef vegetable soup, chili, pizza, hot dogs and grape nut pudding for dessert.

PAWTUCKET — Saint John Baptist Church, 69 Quincy Ave., will hold its Christmas Bazaar the weekend of Dec. 2 and 3.

Hours for today are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; on Sunday, Dec. 3, the Bazaar will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be a 50/50 raffle, raffle baskets, new and used items for sale, food and much more.

FRANKLIN — Get in the holiday spirit by shopping at the St. John’s Church Christmas Fair, which will be held today, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 237 Pleasant St. There will be all kinds of high-quality items to purchase; bid on the silent auction; find gift baskets with themes such as sports; food and wine; games and toys.
