State Police arrest 4 Twin River employees
LINCOLN — An ongoing investigation by the Rhode State Police Gaming Enforcement Unit has resulted in the arrests of four Twin River employees on narcotics charges, Colonel Ann C. Assumpico, Superintendent, of the Rhode Island State Police and Director of the Department of Public Safety, announced.
Assumpico said members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Twin River Casino food and beverage server Kyle Dorez, 30, of 320 Bennett Street, Woonsocket, on Nov. 4, for the following charges:
• Two counts of possession of a controlled substance (Adderall and Vicodin).
• Two counts of possession/delivery of a controlled substance-schedule II (Adderall and Vicodin).
Members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit on Dec. 1 arrested Twin River Casino Table Games Dealer Connor Evans, 31, of 1 Willow Glen Circle, Warwick, on one count of possession/delivery of a controlled substance-schedule IV/V (Alprazolam), Assumpico said.
Twin River Casino food and beverage servers Elizabeth Sankey, 52, of 67 Whipple Road, Smithfield, and Megan Menard, 25, of 31 Bellevue Avenue, North Smithfield, were arrested by members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit on Dec. 6. Each of the two employees face a single count of possession of a controlled substance (Adderall), Assumpico said.
Dorez, Evans, Sankey and Menard were all arraigned and released pending future hearings in Third Division District Court, according to State Police spokeswoman Laura Meade Kirk.
