WOONSOCKET – Kenneth R. “Kenny” Lataille Sr., 59, of Woonsocket, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at Landmark Medical Center.

Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Armand and Audrey (Newton) Lataille. He was a lifelong resident of the city.

Kenny worked for Polar Ice Company, and later in maintenanc­e at the Fairfield Inn, both in Milford.

Kenny was a motorcycle enthusiast and an avid CB radio operator. He also enjoyed camping and traveling especially trips to New Hampshire.

Kenny will be remembered as a devoted dad and grandfathe­r. He had an outgoing and friendly personalit­y and was a real jokester.

Kenny is survived by a daughter, Tina A. Asstafan, and her husband Sam of Woonsocket; and two sons, Kenneth R. Lataille Jr., and his wife Leslie of Woonsocket, and Timothy J. Lataille, and his wife Angela of Blackstone. He is also survived by his children’s mother, Annette R. (Degre) Lataille of Ohio. He was the brother of Earl, George and Armand Lataille, Deborah Newton, Suzanne Spaulding, Linda Kelvy, Janice Gilbert and Jean Gross, and the late Jeannette Lafleur. He is also survived by eight grandchild­ren and one great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Visiting hours will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m. in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. www.menardfune­ralhome.com
