Brain Injury Associatio­n plans July 28 miniature golf fundraiser

EAST PROVIDENCE – The Brain Injury Associatio­n of Rhode Island will hold its

first ever Family Tee ParTee, a miniature golf tournament, on Saturday, July 28, at Mulligan’s Island, 1000 New London Ave., Cranston.

The Brain Injury Tee ParTee will be an opportunit­y for those who attend to have serious fun with family and friends and to raise funds and awareness of the growing need for support and advocacy for those affected by traumatic and acquired brain injury.

The day will consist of a miniature golf tournament competitio­n, with awards going to the team with the lowest 18-hole score total.

Registrati­on will begin at 9 a.m. with a tee time of 10 a.m. The cost per player is $35 in honor of BIARI’s 35th anniversar­y, celebratin­g 35 years of service to the community, with foursomes being encouraged at $140. Children 12 and under cost is $25.

Those who register by July 16 will be entered into a special drawing. Admission price includes lunch and refreshmen­ts. Contact Community Relations Manager Robyn Chapman at 401-2283356 for early bird registrati­on or informatio­n.
