BELLINGHAM — The following programs and/or activities are being offered at the Bellingham Senior Center:

TRIAD is a program that the Norfolk County Sheriff’s office runs with local COA’s to keep seniors informed about pertinent public safety issues i.e. scams. This is a free and interestin­g program. Meets the first Thursday of the month. at 10:30 a.m. WOMEN’S WISDOM, this interestin­g group meets the second and fourth Thursday’s of the month from 1 to 2:30 p.m. It is free. It is a discussion group for women who want to get to know other women and speak about their lives and current issues which the group can help them solve. This war, supportive group is free. Please sign up at the front desk by the Friday before the group. The next meeting is June 21.

LUNCH BUNCH meets on the third Tuesday of the month at the 45 in Medway at 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This group pays for their own meals, talks about anything and everything. It’s a great afternoon.

Southern Rail Concert, Tuesday June 19, 7 p.m. The welcome return of the Blue Grass group is a treat for the ears and the soul. Cost is $10 and includes refreshmen­ts.

SENIOR PROM, Friday, June 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. If you didn’t go last year you missed a great evening. Includes dinner, senior prom music and dancing, pictures, an opportunit­y to meet some of this year’s graduating class from the Bellingham High School. All free. Just dress up and show up at the Bellingham Memorial Middle School. Free event. Sign up at the front desk. This event is a great treat. (Ladies if you want to be made to look more beautiful than you already do, sign up for a makeover by Walgreen’s Estheticia­ns between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on June 22. They are getting their cosmetics ready for you now.)

THE SENIOR CENTER RAISED BED GARDEN We are looking for a few volunteers to help with the garden behind the Center this year. These raised bed vegetable beds need your loving touch. Call the Center to make a scheduled time for your participat­ion.

ANNUAL STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL is Tuesday, June 19 at 12:30 p.m. Celebrate the arrival of summer by enjoying strawberry shortcake, coffee and cold drinks and the Orchestra of One, Susan Mcleod. Dress casually and bring the grandchild­ren. Cost is $4 per person (children 4 and younger are free). Call 508-966-0398 to reserve.

PASTA DINNER AND RAFFLE, Saturday, June 23, 5:30 p.m. Raffling the gift baskets, scratch tickets and quilts on display at the center. And surprise entertainm­ent. Cost is $10. Sign up and pay at the front desk.
