-

FRANKLIN — After a hiatus, the Fourth of July fireworks are coming back to Franklin.

The display will be held at Franklin High School at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3. The Fiesta Shows carnival on the Town Common will start on Friday, June 29 and run through Wednesday, July 4. There will be food booths sponsored by local, non-profit organizations, live music and other entertainment.

There is no formal parade scheduled this year, only a children’s bike parade on Saturday, June 30.

The Franklin Fourth of July Coalition is sending out a mailing to all Franklin residents and businesses in hopes of receiving donations to help pay for the fireworks.
