St. Agatha Seniors meeting of June 27

President Gerard Robidoux opened the meeting with a prayer for the intentions of the members and wished everybody a happy Fourth of July. He also extended an invitation to all seniors to come on down and join every Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Agatha’s parish hall corner of Logee St. and Fairfield Ave. All are welcome.

Celebrating birthdays were Jeanne Wall, Lillian Brais, Cecile Belleville, Michelle McDonald and Donna Bourgeois.

Marcel and Suzanne Hebert are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary and Kevin and Marie Gomes their 38th.

Welcomed back, after a five-month absence, was Lucille Galipeau. She thanked all the members for their prayers and well wishes while she was recovering.

Door prize winners were Lucille Galipeau, Carol Jalbert, Marie Gomes and Marguerite Coulombe. Winners of the raffle were Jeanne Wall, Jocelyn Joyal, Marie Gomes and Michelle McDonald.

There will be no meeting this week because of the Fourth of July. The next meeting will be on July 11, the day of the Picnic Buffet. The president will take reservations for the picnic until July 9.

Winners of the special bingo games were Gerard Robidoux, Estelle Legare, and Jocelyn Joyal. Constance Seider was the caller.

Pitch winners were George Racine, George Gautreau, Roger Roy, Robert Laplante and Marguerite Dubois. Serving coffee and pastries were Frances Roy Marguerite Deragon, Priscille Paulhus and Denise Chamberlin.
