SUMMER STORYTIMES at WEAVER LIBRARY: Thursdays, July 5, 12, 19, 26, 10 to 10:45 a.m. Stories, songs, books, and toys for babies, toddlers, and preschoole­rs. Registrati­on is not required.

RI COMPUTER MUSEUM presents KARAOKE CODING – ROCK ON! at WEAVER LIBRARY: Tuesday, July 10, 2 to 3:30 p.m., ages 7-9; Kids will use basic sound design programs to record and modify their voices, design a beat box, and create a dance routine for Ozobot. Register: Call 401-434-2453.

MAKE & SHAKE MARACAS CRAFT at RIVERSIDE BRANCH LIBRARY: Wednesday, July 11, 11 a.m. to noon, all ages; Use spoons, plastic eggs, and beads.

POLYNESIAN DANCE on the lawn at WEAVER LIBRARY: Thursday, July 12, 3 p.m., all ages; Learn about Polynesian music, dance and culture. Watch Miss Lola dance, and learn to dance to songs from the movie Moana. This program will move indoors in the case of rain.

THE SHANTEY MAN B.J. WHITEHOUSE at WEAVER LIBRARY: Tuesday, July 17, 2 p.m., ages 4 and up; Music and stories of pirates and the sea – lots of audience participat­ion with kids playing in a pots and pans “fufu” band.

GLADYS COLE presents INTRO TO THEATER CLASS at RIVERSIDE BRANCH LIBRARY: Wednesday, July 18, 11 a.m. to noon, ages 5 and up; Kids will participat­e in theater and improv games and fun short scenes. Students will also have a chance to write their own short scene. Register: Call 401-433-4877.

RUMFORD DANCE THEATER PERFORMANC­E at RIVERSIDE BRANCH LIBRARY: Thursday, July 19, 2 to 3 p.m., ages 4 and up; Teenagers will present short plays addressing important themes – self-acceptance, bullying, and more.

MAGICIAN RUSS DeSIMONE at WEAVER LIBRARY: Saturday, July 21, 3 p.m., ages 4 and up; Magic and comedy, plus a live rabbit.

SCHMITTY THE WEATHER DOG SCIENCE SINGALONG SHOW at WEAVER LIBRARY: Tuesday, July 24, 2 p.m.; A STEM program with famous four-pound pup Schmitty who’s been on the Ellen Show and Access Hollywood.
