All-Saints Parish hosting breakfast
WOONSOCKET — All-Saints Parish will be hosting an ‘All You Can Eat Breakfast’ to benefit New Beginnings Kitchen on Sunday, Sept. 30 between 8 a.m. and noon. The breakfast, courtesy of the Knights of Columbus, will be held in the Church Hall, 323 Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Cost is $10 for adults and children under 7 are $5.
‘Summer Mushroom Hunting’ in RI
PASCOAG — The Pascoag Public Library, 57 Church St., will be hosting ‘Summer Mushroom Hunting’ in Rhode Island, presented by the Mushroom Hunting Foundation. The event will take place this Monday, Aug. 20, between 6 and 7:30 p.m. at the library. Learn how to safely enjoy local edible mushrooms via a slide-show that uses all local photography. Claflin Hill Symphony ‘Summer Winds’ Concert at Daniels Farmstead
BLACKSTONE — The Claflin Hill Symphony Summer Winds present its annual concert at Daniels Farmstead, located at 286 Mendon St., in Blackstone, Mass, on Sunday, Sept, 9, 2018 at 3 p.m. This has become a tradition over the past 10 years, and always marks the final performance of the CHSSW, closing out a season of concerts throughout the region. The Claflin Hill Symphony Summer Winds will perform a varied and entertaining program of music ranging from Broadway, to Hollywood, to light classical, patriotic and pop music. As always during a CHSSW summer concert, a special tribute is performed in honor of the nation’s veterans, and a musical moment will honor the memory of all of those who perished on Sept. 11, 2001.
