St. Agatha Seniors, Sept. 12 meeting

After a three-week layoff, St. Agatha Seniors held a meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 12.

President Gerard Robidoux opened the meeting with a prayer for Gertrude Coutemanche and Jeannette Petrin. Sunshine Lady Constance Bonin sent get well cards to Sister Beatrice Bonin and Jeanne Barry. Thank-you cards were received from Claire Biron and Jeanne Barry.

Celebrating a birthday was Denise Chamberlin. George and Elaine Racine are celebrating their 57th wedding anniversary.

If you haven’t bought your ticket for the pot-roast dinner scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 25, you may call Gerry at 401-769-9855 to make reservations no later than Sunday morning.

Door prize winners were Lucille Lavoie, Constance Bonin, Lucille McDonald and Yosha Loya. Winning the raffle were Frances Roy, Luli Ciucci, Jeanne Theroux and Lucille McDonald.

The flowing trips are available: Foxwoods Casino and Resot on Friday, Sept. 28; Mohegan Sun on Friday, Nov. 9. There is also a trip on Dec. 4 at Foxwoods featuring LEGENDS IN CONCERT HOLIDAY SHOW (call Fran Roy at 401-356-1493 for more details).
