1950 Cumberland basketball coach John “Wink” Crowley has

“Jumpin” Jim O’Brien, who stands six feet, four inches tall and has been the starting center for three years, and Johnny Goryl, a five-foot, eight-inch speedster who plays a hustling game, as his only returning regulars from last year’s team. The remaining starting five consists of sophomore Ralph Pearson at right forward, sophomore James Risk at left forward and Carl Archambaul­t, a junior, at right guard. Ready for replacemen­ts will be Dennis Coleman, John Sanna, John Oldham, Vin Kosewski, Tom Kosewski, Jim Cadden, John Gilanoski and Ronnie Cooper.
