St. Agatha Seniors, Jan. 9, 16 meetings

President Gerry Robidoux opened the meeting with a prayer for Simone Remillard, who is recovering from a recent fall at the Friendly Home.

The club is currently sponsoring a trip to Resorts Atlantic City on April 14-16, which includes free slot play, two meal vouchers, and a show (if available). A $50 deposit is required by Feb. 1 and more people are needed to sign up as soon as possible.

Trips are scheduled for Foxwoods on Jan. 25 and Mohegan Sun on Feb. 8. Please contact Fran Roy at 401-356-1493 for more information on these trips. Need not be a member to sign up.

St. Joseph Senior Citizens is also sponsoring trips to a Red Sox game on May 1 and Wildwood on June 2-6. Please contact Linda Deguire at 401-766-5879 for more information.

2019 membership dues and monthly club enrollments are currently being collected. Meetings are held every Wednesday at 1 p.m. and all seniors 55 and over are welcome to become members.

Door prize winners were Connie Seider, Marge Deragon, Linda Deguire and Connie Bonin.

Raffle winners were Fran Furnell, Claire Brodeur, Aline Durand and Jackie Guevremont.
