BELLINGHAM — The Bellingham Police Association is sponsoring a free luncheon for Bellingham Senior Citizens to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

The Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, March 13, at 11:30 a.m. at the Coachman’s Lodge, 273 Wrentham Road in Bellingham. There will only be one seating.

Reservations are required. Reservations can be made by calling the Bellingham Senior Center at 508-966-0398, or signing up at the front desk. Deadline is March 4, 2019. The luncheon will consist of traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner with all the trimmings. The free luncheon is open to all senior citizens of Bellingham.

The Bellingham Police Association is the union of police officers and sergeants in the Town of Bellingham. The Police Assocation supports several charitable organizations and sports teams. Each year, officers deliver holiday dinners to needy Bellingham families and generously support the Bellingham Women of Today Santa’s Elves Program. It is hoped that the St. Patrick’s luncheon will become an annual event to better serve the senior citizens of Bellingham.

The event is being coordinated by Sgt. Edward Guzowski, Sgt. Lee Rolls and Officer John Melanson and are supervising a culinary preparation with a team of Bellingham officers who will serve and host the event.
