• Foolproof Brewing Company (241 Grotto Ave.) hosts its seventh annual Augtoberfe­st, from 3 to 7 p.m. The beer festival will feature live music from The Kickin' Brass Band, food from Great Northern BBQ, games, competitio­ns, and an inflatable slip-and-slide. Foolproof will be releasing one of its most popular seasonal beers – Pineapple Vango Sour Ale. Parking on site. • A carnival fair fundraiser to benefit the Center for Missing Children will be held at River Island Park, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organizers are looking for volunteers to help set up a yard sale. Space units are available for $10, one table for $20, or two tables for $30. There will also be food, a bake sale and a variety of raffles, plus Disney arts and a pie-eating contest.
