Woonsocket
•The River’s Edge Recreation Complex on Davison Avenue will serve as the new site for the city’s seventh annual Pumpkin Patch event for city residents from 2 to 4:30 p.m. During the admission-free event, the city will distribute free locally-grown pumpkins, and supplies to decorate them, to children up to 12 years old. Parents of infants and toddlers may purchase a pumpkin for $5 if any remain available. Other activities at the event include a bounce house, petting zoo and face-painting. The event was moved to River’s Edge from Cold Spring Park due to an increase in attendance. Attendees are encouraged to bring a canned good or non-perishable food item for the city to donate to a local charity.
Pawtucket
• Haunted Tunnel at Slater Park: 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.; “Fright Night in the Park” at Daggett Farm. Because of its scary content, the Tunnel is strongly recommended for ages 12 and above only. Admission $10. Early arrival is strongly recommended. Adjacent to the carousel Slater Park Pavilion is the “family-friendly” “Jack-o-Lantern Village” event displayed with jack-o-lanterns, a witch’s house and other surprises. This attraction will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings, through Saturday, Oct. 26. Admission is $5 per person, 12 years of age or older. Children 12 and under receive free admission. All attractions accept cash only. The carousel will also be open nights in conjunction with the Jack-o-Lantern Village hours of operation on Friday and Saturday nights. at 11 a.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Oct. 27, weather permitting.

• The Manville Manor Tennant Association will be holding a PENNY SOCIAL & BAKE SALE from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Manville Manor Community Room, 155 Church St.; Lunch will be available for purchase. Prizes, 50/50 raffle and other fun.
