• Haunted Tunnel at Slater Park: 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.; “Fright Night in the Park” at Daggett Farm. Because of its scary content, the Tunnel is strongly recommended for ages 12 and above only. Admission $10. Early arrival is strongly recommended. Adjacent to the carousel Slater Park Pavilion is the “family-friendly” “Jack-o-Lantern Village” event displayed with jack-o-lanterns, a witch's house and other surprises. This attraction will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings, through Saturday, Oct. 26. Admission is $5 per person, 12 years of age or older. Children 12 and under receive free admission. All attractions accept cash only. The carousel will also be open nights in conjunction with the Jack-o-Lantern Village hours of operation on Friday and Saturday nights. The carousel will also be open on Saturdays at 11 a.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Oct. 27, weather permitting.
• The Rhode Island Orthodox Clergy Fellowship invites one and all to a “Water Blessing Service” focusing on the Protection of the Environment, being held at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Parish, 97 Walcott St., at 5 p.m. In keeping with the various joint statements of recent years between governmental agencies and religious denomination, this invitation is issued to concerned citizens throughout the state. Guest speaker will be the Reverend Deacon John Chryssavgis, who serves as an Archdeacon to His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople, who is also author of a new book published by T & T Clark in London “Creation as Sacrament: Reflections on Ecology and Spirituality.” His talk will be followed by refreshments in the parish center which will include a film entitled “Green Attica” which Deacon Chryssavgis produced. • The City of Woonsocket will hold its fourth annual “Spooktacular Dance Party” at River Island Art Park from 5 to 9 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for Best Overall Costume; Best Child Costume in two age groups, under 10 and 11-to-17; Best Group; Most Original; Scary; and Funny. The free party will feature a DJ, carnival-style games and a designated “Creepy Zone” where hauntings will be displayed. Kids will receive a free cup of cocoa.

• BINGO at THE MEADOWS, 2 Village Way, will be held today. Doors open at 11 a.m. and play begins at noon with some new games including a buildup. • Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd., is holding its annual fall foliage walk at 2 p.m. Horticultural staff will guide you to the most scenic areas and point out the various unusual and distinctive trees in the cemetery. The walking tour is free and open to the public. Meet in front of the office building near the main gate entrance for the two hour moderately paced walk.
