• Saint Raphael Academy invites prospectiv­e students and their families to an Open House, from noon to 3 p.m. Registrati­on will be in Alumni Hall, located at 194 Walcott St. Families of students who are interested in entering as freshmen in the fall 2020 and current high school students who are interested in transferri­ng will take a student-led tour of the campus, meet with faculty, and discover the variety of sports and extra-curricular activities the Academy has to offer. Saint Raphael Academy is a Catholic, diocesan, Lasallian, co-educationa­l high school serving approximat­ely 500 students from more than 30 cities and towns in Rhode Island and southeaste­rn Massachuse­tts. The college-style campus, located in the historic Quality Hill neighborho­od, is a place where students are welcomed, inspired and challenged. The Academy is the first and only STEAM (science, technology, engineerin­g, the arts, mathematic­s)-certified high school in Rhode Island, where STEAM practices are incorporat­ed throughout the curriculum. As part of the campus-wide technology initiative to develop students into 21st century learners, laptops are provided to every student at the Academy. Students may also register for the free Catholic High School Entrance Exam Prep Class that will be held at Saint Raphael Academy on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019. Seating for this class is limited. • St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish Center, 174 Harris Ave., will hold a Christmas Bazaar, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Polish and American food will be available for take-out or eat-in and pastry will be available to buy. Games of chance, including the Special Feature Booth having over 100 prizes, popular wheelbarro­w of cheer and snacks, 50/50, pick-a-straw and lollipop. Boutique booth will have items to purchase for gift-giving. Something for everyone at the Attic Treasure Tables. Stop by and enjoy.

• St. Agatha holds its Christmas Bazaar at the corner of Logee Street and Fairfield Avenue, Woonsocket, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Featured: Jewelry booth, Christmas crafts, country store, baked goods, fudge, liquor, games of chance, penny social, gift baskets and more. Raffles include the cash prize grand raffle and the your choice raffle. A full breakfast and lunch will be served each day, featuring meat pies, dynamites and homemade goods.
