• Museum of Work and Culture presents Valley Talks, starting at 1:30 p.m.; This year's series will focus on the Rhode Island Historical Society's 2020 theme, Spotlight Rhode Island, highlighti­ng performing arts and artists throughout the state. Today's topic: Filmmaker Christian de Rezendes offers a preview of his historical documentar­y series Slatersvil­le: America's First Mill Village highlighti­ng the French-Canadian portion of the story.

• St. Stanislaus Kosta Parish, 174 Harris Ave., will have the second of its two-day indoor flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items for sale include name-brand clothing for men, women, girls and young children; household items galore; bedding; curtains; towels; jewelry; lamps; etc. Something for everyone, including toys. • Stop by The Art Den, 285 Main St., to see or purchase works of art from Wren Barger; 1-3 p.m.; Barger will have her photograph­y from the ' Day of the Dead' celebratio­n in Mexico this past October and will also have other 'functional' art for sale as well, such as coasters, trivets, clocks and more. • Saturday Morning Mix: Are you ready to mix it up? Come join the fun in the Children's Room every Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon. LEGOs, music, blocks, board games and more. Once a month, on the second Saturday, Mr. Rowland will entertain from 11 a.m. to noon. The Saturday Morning Mix program will allow young patrons many opportunit­ies to learn about music, math and science, and to practice their pre-reading, social, and motor skills.
