Dean College honors local students
FRANKLIN, Mass. — Dean College is pleased to announce the students who have been named members of the Golden Key International Honour Society for the spring semester, including local residents:
Michelle Fren, Madison Harrington and Celine Santorsola, all of Franklin
The Golden Key International Honour Society is the world’s largest international collegiate honor society for graduate and undergraduate students, and has strong relationships with over 400 universities around the world. The Dean College chapter believes that being a part of Golden Key means joining diverse community of academic achievers. The 407th Golden Key chapter, Dean College was officially chartered in Spring 2012.
Dean College is proud to recognize our part-time students in the School of Continuing Studies who have recently been inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society for the spring semester, including local residents:
Marley Binette of Franklin, Kathryn Hanlon of Franklin, Justin Murphy of Cumberland and Loren Phinney of Franklin.
Alpha Sigma Lambda is devoted to the advancement of scholarship and leadership, recognizing academically outstanding adult students in higher education. Juggling the demands of family, school, and for many full-time jobs, these students have excelled academically and earned a cumulative GPA that ranks them in the top 20% of all part-time studies students.

Megan McGlashing and Brianna Zariczny, both of Woonsocket.
Founded in 1923 at the University of Illinois, Phi Eta Sigma is the nation’s oldest and largest honor society for firstyear college and university students in all disciplines. Phi Eta Sigma was founded to encourage and reward high scholastic achievement among first year students. Since its founding, Phi Eta Sigma chapters have been chartered on 378 campuses across the United States and more than 1,100,000 scholars have been inducted into Phi Eta Sigma. The Dean College chapter of Phi Eta Sigma was chartered in Spring 2020.
