Biden’s first year debacle

- Chip Lichty West Warwick

This letter is for everyone, especially our elected RI legislators plus our Democratic congressmen. The reckless Biden administration, the US House and Senate in 2021 did nothing productive, other than make voters upset at their voting mistakes in 2020.

Inflation is the highest in 40 years. In 2020 inflation the rate was 1.25% – in this administration’s first year it climbed up to 7.5%. Seeing our elected congressmen are supporters of this reckless administration, what if anything have they done about it? Let see, trying to get rid of the filibuster, even thought the Democrats utilized the filibuster some 300 times in 2020. Still talking about Trump, blaming Republicans for Jan.6, fiasco – the entrance to the U.S. Capitol Rotunda are doors 17 ft high, weighing 20,000 lbs, and can only be opened by the inside. Who opened them?

Biden closed the Key Stone pipeline, stopped oil leases, closed gas exploration, oil workers lost six figure incomes, created havoc for all. Gas soared up $1 a gallon, cost per barrel soared from $41.96 in 2020 to $70.68 in 2021 and to $90 a barrel today. We were independent, we were selling our oil. Now we are dependent of OPEC, and begging them to drill more oil. Hey here is an idea, Biden Administration, our elected Congressmen, how about opening the Key Stone Pipeline, allow gas exploration, reopen leases etc. and stop threatening war with Russia! In fact start selling again and be mindful to stop Russia’s profits going forward with their pipeline.

Biden’s administration, and our Congressmen have done little to nothing about the crisis at the southern border. They’re providing buses at our southern border for illegal immigrants, taking them to an airport in Texas, processing them, flying them to Atlanta, Houston, and Florida, giving them hotel rooms, some money, and letting them loose. Again no vetting, dangerous gang members, possible Covid-19, etc.

The Biden administration denounced a republican bill in Florida, which the governor approved to stop K-12 sexual orientation and gender identity training to children.
