Dancing With Dolphins

Public project runs through 2018, seeking donors

-

Wondering about colorful sculptures around town? It’s part of the Cape Coral Art League’s “Dancing With Dolphins” public art project running through 2018. The idea is for sponsors to cover the cost of an artist-painted sculpture, placing them at the sponsored locations in the Cape. Linda Young (pictured) is an office receptionist at the sponsor Kindness Animal Hospital on Cape Coral Parkway, for instance, where a fiberglass dolphin painted by Betsy Koscher rests. Other sponsors to date include the Cape Art League, Cape Coral Community Foundation, Cape Coral Hospital Auxiliary, Lobster Lady, John Michaels Jewelry, Razzle Dazzle and Auto Galaxy. Proceeds benefit the Cape Art League. Details are at capecoralartleague.org.
