Book prices ranging from $ 10 to $ 50,000 will pique the interest of the leisure reader as well as avid collectors, organizers say.

Avid readers will note that the University of the South, founded in 1857, is home of the Sewanee Review, which is the oldest continuously published literary quarterly in America. Published by the university since 1892, it has never missed an issue.

The weekend will begin with a preview party on Friday evening, July 8, for $15. Admission Saturday and Sunday, July 9-10, $ 10, but that fee is refundable with the purchase of a book.

The fair will include a variety of collectible and rare books and autographed documents.
