Parties on five rooftops downtown promote sustainable living
Food, drink, sustainability- themed displays and some of the best views in the city will highlight this year’s Rooftop Hop to benefit GreenSpaces, an organization that promotes sustainable living, working and building in the city.
This is the fifth year for the event and, for the first time, one ticket price gets you into all five parties on the downtown rooftops.
“In the past, you could buy a VIP ticket, which got you in but also into a party at the Hunter,” says planning committee member Taylor Hartley. “This year, it’s one price and five rooftops, so it’s a true hop.”
Each building will feature a different theme, such as composting and recycling or water conservation. Each will also have unique foods and music.
“You get to choose whichever path you want,” Hartley says.
“Chattanooga Ducks will provide transportation, plus everybody gets a day pass for Chattanooga Bikes.”
