Garden Bros. Circus coming to Chattanoog­a, Dalton

Garden Bros. Circus, celebratin­g t he circus tradition for more than a century, plans two stops in the area as part of its current North American tour.

A production of Ice Capades, Garden Bros. Circus still includes elephants in its shows, along with motorcycle daredevils in a Globe of Doom, Chinese acrobats, a Human Slingshot, aerialists and clowns, as well as a first-of-its-kind combined performanc­e by camels, llamas, horses and buffalo, according to promoters.

The show will be at McKenzie Arena, 720 E. Fourth St. in Chattanoog­a, on Monday, March 6, a nd at t he Dalton Convention Center, 2211 Dug Gap Battle Road in Dalton, Ga., on Tuesday, March 7. There will be two shows each day, at 4:30 and 7: 30 p. m.

Tickets are $9.95 for the first 100 adult tickets. General-admission tickets are $8 for children 3-12, $24 for adults. VIP ringside seats are $18 for children, $34 for adults.

Free children’s tickets have been distribute­d at local businesses, elementary schools, preschools, day- care centers and churches. These must be presented at the gate. Children 2 and younger get in free for general-admission seating but will require a ticket for VIP seats.

Doors open one hour before the show for the Kids Fun Zone. Seating is first-come, first-served.
