SATURDAY FRIDAY-

- STAFF REPORT

It was always a dream of Summerville, Ga., native Sean Willingham to host a bull- riding event in his home arena, which he accomplished last year when the inaugural Sean Willingham Invitational launched in McKenzie Arena.

The Professional Bull Riders event returns this weekend — even bigger than the first. The action starts at 7: 30 p. m., Fri- day-Saturday, April 21-22.

Willingham, two- time PBR World Champion, will join 2016 PBR World Champion Cooper Davis and a long list of top PBR stars to compete in this event that is now part of the PBR’s elite Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour.

Competitors will include Chase Outlaw, ranked No. 3 in the world; Mason Lowe and Stormy Wing, ranked in the Top 10 bull riders; and 2015 World Champion J.B. Mauney. Adding to the excitement, country music star Colt Ford will make an appearance at the event on Friday night. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Ford during intermission when he joins Willingham to take photos and sign autographs.

“We are working hard to bring a premier event to Chattanooga that caters to the fans and contributes to the city,” said Willingham.

“The talent is worldclass in both the bull riders and the bulls. We also have great partners this year that are helping to make this possible and bring the very best for the fans and the city. Fans are going to feel like they’ve been treated with the best PBR has to offer,” Willingham says.

Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at www.Tickettracks.com or the McKenzie Arena Box Office.
