BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL IN DELANO

Four bluegrass bands will take the stage at the annual Linsdale Bluegrass Festival on Saturday, Oct. 14, in Delano, Tenn.

Just Us, Valley Grass Express, New Day and 3rd Degree will perform at Firehall Station 7, 1150 Chestuee Road in Delano, to help Linsdale Community Services raise funds for those firefighters.

From noon until 1 p.m. there will be an open mic for jammers and pickers, followed by the featured acts until 7 p.m. Festivalgoers can buy lunch or dinner on-site from a variety of concessions that will be sold, including chicken plates, pintos and beans, hamburgers and more.

The bluegrass festival will be held rain or shine. Bring a lawn chair for seating. Admission is $7.
