Four plays, one show
‘A Night of One-Acts’ in Dalton, Ga.
Dalton Little Theatre holds its final weekend of “A Night of One-Acts” tonight through Saturday, Feb. 1-3, at the theater, 210 N. Pentz St. in Dalton, Ga.
The production includes four new, original plays by local playwrights. DLT accepted submissions in November, and of those, four were chosen for production.
The house opens at 6:30 p.m. with curtain at 7 o’clock. Each play has an approximate run time of 25 to 30 minutes, with one 15- minute intermission included.

“Pass t he Salt,” written and directed by Brenton Haley.
After recently discovering his wife is pregnant, John struggles with trying to balance marriage, work and caring for his mother, who suffers from dementia. For the first time, he considers putting her in a nursing home.

written and directed by Jennifer Jones, adapted from a short story by Edith Wharton.
Two middle-age American women visiting Rome with their daughters revisit their lifelong friendship and reveal details of how their youthful and romantic rivalry led to hidden truths.
› “The End of the World as I Know It,” written and directed by
Amanda Havelin.
What do Dec. 21, 2012, the Mayan calendar and Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies have in common? They’re all part of this hilarious story of family, love and life as we know it.
