Daughter of actor Vincent Price reads and signs her new memoir
Star Line Books will host an appearance by Victoria Price, daughter of the late actor Vincent Price, at the bookstore today, March 29, at 6 p.m.
Price will discuss and sign her new memoir, “The Way of Being Lost: A Road Trip to My Truest Self.”
Price delves into her childhood with a doting, famous father and a detrimental, unloving mother. Despite having what outwardly appears to be a wonderful life, Price could tell that something was not right, so she set out at age 49 to figure out the cause of her anxiety and and self-doubt.
She rebuilds her life by embracing a daily practice of j oy, heal- ing childhood wounds and reconnecting to the example set by her father. She shares stories, experiences and lessons that led her back to her truest self, including her daily practice of joy.
Price is also the author of the critically acclaimed “Vincent Price: A Daughter’s Biography.” A popular inspirational speaker on topics ranging from art collecting and design to creativity and spirituality, as well as the life of her famous father, she has appeared on“Good Morning, America,” A& E’s “Biography” and NPR’s Fresh Air and Morning Edition.
Her work has been featured in USA Today, People, Travel & Leisure, Art & Auction and The New York Times.
